Ichthus Leaders’ Conference
A retreat for leaders at the Croydon Park Hotel
15-16 January 2010
Dear Leaders,
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Ichthus Leaders’ Conference in January 2010!
We have a challenging programme planned, which examines our relationships, at home, in church, ecumenically, in our leadership teams, and in the community. On Friday evening we have guest speaker Rob Parsons speaking on The leader and their relationships, while on Saturday Les Isaac will address us on Relationships in the community.
In addition, we have seminars addressing ecumenical relationships, handling disagreements and accountability in team leadership. In our main sessions we will tackle the subject of men and women working together in leadership. We will look at the meaning of masculinity and femininity, offer a Biblical perspective on gender issues and tackle the question of whether there is such a thing as a Jezebel spirit. Since some other churches and streams have made a point of emphasising their opposition to women in leadership, we feel it is time we set out our stall and discussed these matters openly. It should be a lively time! We hope you will join us and add your own perspectives and questions as we seek the face of the Lord together.
We have taken seriously your suggestions from last year and have made small adjustments to the programme to accommodate them. The Croydon Park Hotel is ready to welcome us back, with their excellent facilities and food, and we believe this will be a significant event. We look forward to having you with us.
With love,

Roger and Faith Forster
