The Summer Project is an intensive training course, comprising a challenging teaching programme and practical experience in evangelism in London.

The course is for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of the theology of mission in the context of a lively church, and at the same time gain practical experience as faith is translated into action.

Each year the course takes place during or around the first two weeks of July and consists of a fortnight of teaching, times of worship and ministry and outreach in teams. The teaching is provided by various Ichthus leaders, including Roger and Faith Forster and guest speakers.

The two weeks will be different in teaching content but each day there will be:

Times of worship and prayer
Opportunities to receive the Holy Spirit for personal refreshment
Encouragement to become more deeply rooted in the Word of God
Outreach in teams in the afternoon and evening. You will have the opportunity to experience different forms of evangelism into the local community.

Applicants should be at least 18 years of age.

Cost

You can attend on a residential or non-residential basis:

Residential
Full board and lodging, plus travel to mission locations
Two week course £198 (£99 per week)

Non-Residential
To include lunch and evening meal and travel to mission locations
Two week course £158 (£79 per week)
