Revive! 2012: Now is the Time
28 July–4 August at Ashburnham Place, East Sussex. Day visitors are also welcome.
2012, the Olympic year, will see the world coming to the UK to participate in or be a spectator at the Games. For those taking part, they will know that now is the time for them to seize with both hands the opportunity before them, to live the reality they were made for! At Revive 2012, we want to take that same theme and apply it to our lives, moving from watching to taking part in the activity of God.*
The Bible is full of men and women, young and old, who sensed that this was their moment, that they were made for this time. Like the men of Issachar, they understood the times and knew what they were to do. Let us grasp afresh the beauty and significance of being God’s people, of being those who carry God’s words to our culture, and of bringing the grace and power of the Spirit into our broken world. We are expecting, through the varied life of Revive 2012 – through joy, discovery, worship and rest – that we will find God is ready to meet with us. We warmly invite you to join with us because, in truth, now is the time!
* As for watching the Olympics, we’ll be showing the Games live on the Cafe Ash big screen!
A week of renewal and challenge for all
Revive is the annual Bible week run by Ichthus Christian Fellowship, which takes place in the beautiful setting of Ashburnham Place near Battle in East Sussex. For over ten years Revive has provided a wonderful environment for all the family to meet with and be challenged by God. The event is open to all and indeed each year we have large numbers of delegates from a wide spectrum of church denominations, traditions and streams around the UK and Europe. In addition to the diverse adult programme including celebrations, Bible studies, seminars and prayer, Revive! offers a range of events throughout the week for children, young people and students. |
